at Neeld Community & Arts Centre in Chippenham for the start of the Examination.
The Preliminary Meeting is in the morning and the Open Floor Meeting is in the afternoon at which members of the public who have registered will be speaking for 3 minutes.
Public attendance at hearings is a normal part of the process and helps ensure that local interest in the project is clearly visible.
Please check the response to your relevant representation from the developer. (see tabs below). If you are not satisfied with this, or have further questions, you can submit a Written Representation.
The Deadline is 1 May
Register by 1 May to speak at subsequent Open Floor Hearings.
Affected parties (ie people whose land is needed for the cable route intra Lime Down and the route to Melksham) must register to be heard at a COMPULSORY ACQUISITION hearing.
If you think Tourism or your Business will be impacted, please register to speak at an Open Floor Hearing.

The Planning Inspectorate teams will visit the site on a number of occasions during the Examination Stage (through to approx. the end of September 2026). Having the placards in place shows the strength of our objection.
We want to inform people about the Stop Lime Down Campaign but must be cautious to do this within the law.
