Lime Down Solar Park is a 2,220 acre industrial facility proposed by Island Green Power, a Bermuda- registered company 100% owned by Australian venture capital group Macquarie. This massive development will directly affect the towns and villages of Alderton, Corston,Foxley, Grittleton, Hullavington, Malmesbury, Rodbourne, Sherston and encircle Norton, forever changing our landscape and way of life.
This isn’t about clean energy – it’s about turning our countryside into a commodity. The profits will flow offshore while we are left with the consequences.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to the Art Exhibition on 3rd, 4th & 5th October.
The exhibition grew into something much bigger and more exciting than we ever anticipated, bringing together so many from our community. We are hugely grateful to all the artists who are donating at least 30%, many giving 100% to Stop Lime Down.
We raised just over £20,000 from the whole weekend, which will pay for an expert. We are so thrilled with this outcome. Thank you.
If you were not able to attend but would still like to buy a wonderful piece of local art, do have a look at our online exhibition for any unsold items, details below....
Please do have a look and let us know if you would like to buy any pieces.
We are so grateful to all the artists - all are donating 30% (many giving 100%) to Stop Lime Down.
